JOB OPENINGS

GIS/FIELD TECHNICIAN

College Township is seeking to employ a full-time GIS/Field Technician to prepare and update mapping of various Township facilities and infrastructure; field locate various Township facilities and infrastructure using handheld GPS equipment; perform inspections of roadway, stormwater, and water facilities construction; assist the Township Engineer in the preparation of reports and mapping; assist in the collection of field survey measurements, and assist in other office and field duties as may be required. 

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of Esri GIS Arcmap and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Trimble data collectors and Trimble software is preferred. Field experience in the inspection of various infrastructure construction is preferred. 

Education Requirements: A degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in GIS database maintenance, updating, and map preparation. 

Starting salary: $33,000 to $48,000. Full benefits package is included.
