College Township is seeking applicants for the position of laborer/operator for the Public Works Department. The primary job duties include work involving the maintenance of Township roads, bridges, parks, buildings and equipment. Position requires manual labor, equipment operation and construction work in all weather conditions including snow removal operations. Occasional overtime required.

Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus (3) years experience in construction and maintenance of roads; experience in the operation of heavy equipment and machinery; possess a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Drivers License Class A with air brake endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months of date of hire.

 This is a full-time 40-hour per week position. Salary dependent upon qualifications and experience. College Township provides a full benefits package including health, dental, life, short and long term disability and pension.

Municipal Management Analyst, College Township, PA

 College Township, Centre County, PA (population 10,134) home to Beaver Stadium and many Pennsylvania State University facilities, is seeking next full-time professional Management Analyst. The position reports to the Township Manager and performs complex work resolving performance, process, policy and planning and management issues. Also provides special assistance in financial, personnel, administrative, planning and research and other related functions.

Valid driver’s license and a degree in public administration or related field plus one year experience required. Master’s degree preferred. Attractive, full benefits package. Hiring range beginning at $49,000, based on experience.
