Administration Department

Welcome to the Administration Department page of the College Township website.

The day-to-day business of College Township is conducted on behalf of the College Township Council by the Township Manager/Secretary, the Assistant Township Manager, and the Assistant Township Secretary. Additional support is provided by the Township Receptionist.

All municipal departments are under direction of the Township Manager and all department heads are appointed by the Manager with the consensus of College Township Council.

College Township functions as a Township of the Second Class in conjunction with the rules and regulations outlined in the Pennsylvania Second Class Township Code. The Township is organized as a Special Optional Charter municipality which allows for the nomenclature  "council members" and the elimination of an elected tax collector. Other Second Class Township elected officials retain the designation of "board of supervisors" and have an elected tax collector.
